We have stopped buying bottled water when we travel. I carry a resusable water bottle and just fill it from the tap. If we were someplace where the water was bad we could get bottle water.
We now travel with our countertop reverse ososeys system when we travel within driving distance. Mainly in Orlando and Florida. The water tastes terrible, as it does at our home in Jacksonville. We were always buying gallon bottles of water both at home and while traveling. When we travel west, we can usually drink the tap water.

When we stay at Surfwatch, we usually just do a shop on the way to the resort and that sets us up for the weekšŸ˜Š

When we stay in WDW with our DVC we order for delivery.

We do the same. If we are someplace and unsure about the water, I get a gallon of water until we can check it out but in general it's fine.šŸ¤™šŸ»

We started using Home Chef in the last year at home. I was surprised to find that they will deliver to other places. So far this year, we have had them deliver groceries to Lake Tomahawk, WI for 4 wks. (lake home) and right now to Avon, CO for 3 wks. (timeshare resort)

I have ordered a waffle iron from Amazon to be delivered prior to my arrival for an extended stay on Maui. I left the item for HK. Front desk staff was vying for the item as we checked in. šŸ¤

Similar to some of the others, I don't mind grocery shopping and will often find things I don't see at home when I do my own shopping.

I have thought about using Amazon a few times, that has typically been when i forgot something, and so far whenever i have checked the delivery was estimated to arrive too late in the trip to worth it.

My resort, Sedona Pines does not allow pkgs. I can't remember the exact wording. They said, don't do it. Hey, I get it.

And, a couple hours credit was earned for my Econ degree by driving all over the state comparing grocery prices back in the day. Very enlightening!

So, no, I'd never miss an opportunity to check out a grocery store. I was super impressed with one here that I hadn't visited in 15 years - my! Fancy!
On the other hand, I do have friends who swear by the service and I stumble around the huge carts of workers loading up orders as I traverse the aisles.

It was over 20 years ago when we landed in Germany, and as my dad was driving along to our destination, I hollered, "Stop the car! There's an ALDI!" :ROFLMAO:
