Grocery Store Near Westin Ka'anapali

We are heading to the Westin Ka'anapali check in this Friday. Can someone let me know where the nearest best grocery store is to the Westin?
 
There is a Safeway about three miles south in Lahaina. There is a Star Market about a mile north.

But the best prices are at Costco, about a mile from the airport.
 
Best local grocery store is Foodland Farms, across from Safeway in the new(er) mall.

I'm with Ken555, we really like the Lahaina Farms Foodland across from Cannery Mall where the Safeway is. Whichever place you shop, be sure to sign up for the loyalty program as it can save you some bucks.

I've stayed at the Westin Villas and they are beautiful! Have fun!
 
There is also a small Times market one light north of wkorv, look for Slappy Cakes restaurant on the corner. Close by when you just need a few items and walkable from the resort.
 
The Times Market is the one that's easy to walk to, we did it a couple of times.

We have found that a Costco stop just after leaving the airport with the rental car, then 'filling in' at either Safeway or Times market works for us. Safeway is essentially the same as a mainland Safeway, while Times Market has more 'local' fruits and curios and baked goods. Also a good local coffee shop in the same strip mall where Times is.
 
Many thanks to all the replies. One more quick question....... can you buy beer at the grocery stores? We fly out of BWI tomorrow to OAK then on to Maui Friday morning.
 
In Hawaii, beer, wine and liquor are all in the grocery stores. Cheaper at Costco if you are a member.
