If you want to keep the unit in points, make sure you set up the RCI account during the transfer. There is a possibility it may revert to weeks if you don't.

Good question! We have form to fill out to transfer someone over the to RCI points. We pay $176CDN/year

However, if you don’t want to take the RCI membership you don’t have to. We would just cancel it. Just thought it might be a nice option for those who may want

I would want to keep the RCI memebership so that I have RCI as well as Interval.

Can we find out what the total transfer fees are? If the fees aren't high then I would be interested.

This is what the form says for the RCI transfer:
“The $98 USD/$142 CAD processing fee is due upon time of submission of transfer application.
If a new account is being established for Transferee, the first year’s dues in the amount of $134 USD/$176 CAD are required in addition to the $98 USD/$142 CAD processing fee.”

And this is what the email says from Grandview:
“You would need to have a new deed recorded transferring the ownership out of your name, send us a copy of that deed along with a $250.00 resort transfer fee.”
The new deed transfer I believe we do through LT transfers. Looks like the costs are $275-400. But I’m looking if this can be done on our own without them
