I have a specific question. Does anyone know which end of building 82 the 3BR villas are located ? I know where many of the 3BRs are located in the various villages but I've never stayed in the Main Village so I have no idea. Building 82 faces the lake and is opposite building 84 that's in the West Village. Usually the 3BRs are on one end of the building. Thanks.

I don't think they are end units in these original buildings. Looking at building 81 as a guide in the condo declaration, which has the same configuration and orientation as 82, it looks like the 3BR units are kinda in the middle. I'll have to find an amendment to the CC&R documents that has the drawings for building 82 to confirm.

I think calling the resort front desk will give you an immediate answer to your question.

I've called them before with this question and they had no idea. I suppose I could give it another try, but my expectations are low.

Here is building 82 from the condo drawings along with the unit numbers for each type. It is indeed the same as building 81 above except that 81 is only four stories where 82 is five.

The 3BR in building 82 seems to have a different floor plan that may or may not be desirable. In 82, the 3BR has a foyer that both the studio and 2BR side connect to. This may make the studio side seem more separate from the entire unit as you need to pass through the foyer to move between the rooms. This could provide more privacy for those in the studio but may not be good if traveling with small children. The end unit 3BR don't have the shared foyer and have two separate entries. This could also be an issue with small kids having an access door in the studio.

I remember seeing that blueprint before for the 3BR villas; I think they used to show typical floorplans for the different sized villas. Now they only give the floor plan for the studios.

It LOOKS lilke the 2nd (middle) bedroom has a door to both the main villa as well as to the lockoff. (?) I'm looking forward to finding out if that's true. That might be a good feature when we are traveling with my son, d-i-l, and grandkids.

The foyer plan one be a problem for me on this trip, but again, thanks for the info. Good to know for the future.

Will be staying here in May again-kid graduating from UCF. Got the 3 bedroom on an exchange. Last time we stayed in the 3 bedroom with separate studio entrance we had horrible issues with front door working, had to go in through studio side many times (5 days out of 7). Maintenance tried but OMG what a nightmare. Needed the space or else would never stay here again
Is Maintenance still a huge issue? and the long lines in lobby to get it fixed? And rude front desk and concierge staff?

I own and have been going every year since 2003.
Is maintenance still an issue? I've never had an issue with maintenance.
Long lines in the lobby to get it fixed? I never stand in line if I have a maintenance issue. I call the front desk and they always send someone up within the hour.
Rude front desk and concierge staff? I don't think I've ever had any employee at MGV be rude to me. I had a lazy person at the front desk who wouldn't make a copy of something for me once so we had to go to Staples. I mentioned it to someone else at the front desk later and they informed me making copies is a courtesy they provide to guests and that person should have done it for me.
