Grande Ocean latest Refurbished buildings

Hey All, I heard that there is refurbishment starting this fall at Grande Ocean, but we will be there this summer. Can someone let me know which buildings were the last to be refreshed? I am hoping to get a unit that is not showing too much wear and tear.

For what its worth, I called the Grande Ocean front desk this morning and they told me that all of the buildings were refurbished at the same time. They must have one heck of a crew that ALL TEN BUILDINGS were refurbished at the same time! I am sure that there is an answer out there, but I can't seem to find one.

I'm not sure when it was but for a previous set of refurbishments they had planned to do 2 buildings a year for 5 years. They did 2 rounds of 2 buildings then figured out that the economy of scale didn't make it reasonable to continue the plan so they did the rest one off season. I'm sure they meant one single off season for this time. Maybe Marty or someone else knows when it was last done. I know they're getting close to another round, the plans have been published here. They normally do a test unit to be sure it works as planned, not sure if they've done so this time. The last time we were there was last year with 11 units and we didn't have any concerns.

I believe the North side was done 2014/2015 and the South side done 2015/2016.

Thanks all for your responses. I have always found the rooms to be in very good condition, and I am sure that the refurbishment planned for this fall will ensure that the resort continues to receive the high marks it deserves.
