We have been owners at the GVRN for about 14 years. We started going there when our kids were young, and have continued yearly (they‘re now 24 and 21) We are hoping to take them, along with the Fiancé and the Girlfriend this summer - as we did a couple years ago. Last year because of Covid and the fact that their college schedules got in the way, hubby and I went by ourselves in late Oct. The resort was at 25% occupancy, but they did a great job with safety protocols and we once again, had a wonderful trip. To us it’s like visiting “family” every year. The people are wonderful, we are always treated very well, and we look forward to our week each time we go.

This year the AI rate I was quoted seems unusually high to me. We pay a discounted rate of the current RCI posted rate, but because I do not belong to RCI anymore (we only ever go to our home resort), I am unable to see what it is for 2021. Can anyone with a current RCI directory tell me what the posted RCI AI rates are for #6708 - Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. We are looking at going either in the summer (June) or into the fall (by the end of Oct).

Thank you for your quick response. Are you able to tell me what the nightly rate pp is for the AI only? We already own the unit, so I only pay the AI Rate/night.

They don't have a listed per person per night fee, its a calculated value. They do have this for kids:

Rate of Children 2020, 2021 & 2022 from 4-12 years US $ 120 and Adolescents from 13-15 years US $ 200.
The program includes breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet or à la carte in the Azul restaurant, 4 specialty restaurants for dinner, 24-hour suite service, premium mini-bar en suite daily, Children's Club with daily activities, Teen Club, Wifi, non-motorized water sports and taxes.

2 adults was $5860 the week I checked, which is $418 per person per night.
