Has anyone been here? Apparently it is affiliated with RCI. I can't find too much information on the timeshares. I have a studio on hold . Thanks.

I've never stayed there but have friends who have. They really liked it.
Nascar driver Kyle Petty started his charity motorcycle drive from that resort this year. So I'm guessing it can't be bad if you have folks with private jets and 1million dollar+ custom RV's staying there.

We usually stay closer to the water or ski hills when we head "up north".

We've stayed in both the hotel area (for principals' conferences) and in the timeshare area (used a friends' unit). We love the area and the activities in the area! The one BR timeshare unit is on the small side, but adequate for us. We were outdoor most of the time, and the units are right on the east arm of Grand Traverse Bay. Water is calm most of the time in summer, but water temps are mid-60's to mid-70's, a bit cool for my liking!

Are the timeshare furnishings updated? If a 1 BR is small, I bet the studio is tiny...but who knows? Thanks

Sorry, don't know if the timeshare furnishings have been updated.

We have stayed in both a studio and a 2 BR unit. Yes the furnishings are up to date. As someone mentioned the units are small. For example, I have stayed in larger 1br unts than the 2br unit here. The studio is really about the size of a mid size hotel room, has a murphy bed and a pull out coach and a mini refrigerator and microwave. Another thing - these overlook the bay but are a short distance to the hotel area of the resort. so you will need to drive to get to the indoor pool, restaurants or shops.
