Hi, We're thinking about trading into the Grand Solmar at Cabo for Sept. 2012 for our anniversary. Do you have any thoughts good/bad about the weather, resort etc. during that time of the year? Thanks.

September is the hurricane season and the the sport fishing tournaments are in Sept so it's busy on the marina and in town and the weather can be hit or miss.

We were there last week of October. Stayed in the four bedroom five bath presidential penthouse, on the rooftop, which was pretty cool.

It will be hot in September, but at least it's not a humid heat. We were there in October during the grand fishing tournament and the town was lively but it was not annoyingly busy.

It is hurricane season, and you take a chance indeed.

Remember there is no swimmable beach. Resort is beautiful but if you stay in the non VIP building, where the studios, one and two bedrooms are, you may be looking at a crane since they are still building next door.

September may very well be humid. We have been there many times in October and the weather tends to cool around the 15th. It has been very humid some times we have been there. The last time we were in Cabo around the end of October it was still humid.

I went to Cabo in September. The temperature was hot - 99 degrees daily. The heat was worse than I expected. I am canceling my Cabo trade for Sept 2012. The heat was extreme, but Cabo was great.
