Hi. I was offered a property in points in this GPR_HGVC. I just sow this property in eBay for $1 ( or buy now $500) for the same resort but in weeks (no points _no hgvc).

Can anyone buy this TS and do a conversion to HGVC points ? would that be possible? and how much is that conversion fee from weeks to points?

Thanks:)

My understanding is only the Marbrisa Property transfers with HGVC points when buying externally.

Thanks... In general since this is just an affiliated HGVC resort..is it worth it to buy it with HGVC points ?

Would you buy Hilton property or affiliated ?..is just the same down the road? :ponder:

As long as the previous owner had enrolled their week into points and was a current HGVC owner and the fee to transfer the points is $995. Applies for Palisades and Marbrisa.

I can't reply to your PM since your box is full. Here is what I tried to send to you:

You can't covert GPR resales to HGVC. If you buy a week from the developer, they will convert your resales, but that is much more expensive than just buying an already converted week.

Marbrisa is no longer an affiliated resort, it is now a "true" HGVC property.

A while back there was report that HGVC points would no longer transfer with resale at Pacific Palisades and Seapoint. I don't know if that was ever confirmed.

If your thinking of acquiring this unit for the HGVC points, i would be certain that the unit is indeed already enrolled in HGVC and that the points will transfer to you if you purchase it.

That is what I had heard too.

Hi Angela, will this TS in GPP would have any issue with HGVC points? I am buying from you 8400k points at the GPP because HGVC. Can you please confirm this GPP TS has not contract ending or will have any issues with the points? :ponder: thanks

Thanks..Very worried about this GPP now. I am buying a TS_resale in this location with 8400 p HGVC. I don't want any surprises. :ponder:

The best thing to do is call GPP direct and speak to the Owners Services Dept. and ask them to look-up the Owner ID of the property you are looking at (seller can provide) and confirm whether or not it is associated with HGVC or not.

Thanks.. Totally! done already but office is closed now. everything is in the contract but just making sure everything is as seen and writing. (got in a little bit of panic here) since I have been reading lately about the GPR. My agent will call me soon hopefully and I will talk to her about it. waiting for her to call me :)
