I am pretty sure this has been explained before, but why did Marriott cut out courtyard views in the DC for MGO? In DC there is only OF and OS

it's because there's no such thing as courtyard view.

the only two view designations at MGO are oceanfront and oceanside. I've been a multiple week owner there since the 90's.

The courtyard views are considered oceanside at GO.

Marriott.com indicates the view as Courtyard View, while the actual view sold is Ocean Side. Reading posts from others, Courtyard View is probably more realistic.

With all those tall trees they should call it ocean front and ocean glimpse. That would be more accurate.
