I have a question about the regular master rooms at the Grand Mayan Riviera Maya. I am wondering what the bed configuration is? We are a family of two adults and two teenagers and was wondering if three of us could possibly sleep in one master room room my the other (my husband who snores A LOT) could sleep alone in the other master room. I think there might also be a small couch in these rooms, could one teenager or adult also sleep on that?

Thanks

From your question I am not exactly sure what you have at the GM.

There are three configurations.

First is the Master Room (or studio). This unit does not have a separate bedroom, and has two queen beds. It can sleep four in one room. I don't remember a couch in this room.

Second is the Grand Mayan suite (or one bedroom). This unit has a king bed in the bedroom, and a couch that can sleep one. In the living room there are two couches that can be made into double beds.

Finally there is the Master suite (or two bedroom). This combines the Master Room and the suite. In this configuration there are some rooms that have a king bed rather than two queens in the Master Room, but there arent many of these.

You can generally tell which you have from your reservation. The Master Room sleeps four (I believe), and has no kitchen facilities, the suite will sleep around six, ant the Master suite around eight.

With the one bedroom, best bet is for the snorer to be in the living room, and the teens in the king bed. You would then need to use the couch in the bedroom.

Master room won't work well.

Master suite will be great.

Two bedroom is 8(6) GM Master suite
One bedroom is 5(4) GM suite
Hotel is 2(2) GM Master room, but some can be 4(2)

The first number is number of folks who can sleep there, and the number in parentheses is the number who can sleep privately.

These are RCI numbers.
