Hi Tuggers!

I know I can purchase wifi for the week, but I really dislike the fact that MP charges per device. Between my laptop, tablet, and two Kindles, I was wondering if there was any free wifi at the MP/GM Acapulco?

If not, any Starbucks/coffee shop/internet kiosk close by, where I can "fill up"?

We're leaving Saturday for a week. After purchasing in 2001, and spending 12 vacations at the MP Riviera Maya, we thought it was time to try somewhere else, haha!!

WIFi at Mayan Resorts - best deal is for 4 devices

I believe the best deal is for 4 devices - with the 4th one being 90% off from the price for the first one . We paid it at the MP PV Marina last April . 2 Android phones , a laptop and an IPad . I forget the total but I believe the bill is in Pesos so if you are calculating in USD it may have gone down from prior years .
Service worked on the beach at that property due to the proximity of the building with the restaurant.
perhaps someone who has stayed recently can post the price for the first device and the discount for each additional one added

Wow, I didn't know something like that existed!!

Thinking about it, I suppose I could connect to my phone, and use my phone to tether the wireless to my other devices.

You could tether your phone, but make sure you don't watch videos! They suck up a lot of data, especially HD at 1MB/'s!

With that device, the resort router only sees the travel router as one device, which you can then connect several devices as needed.
