Has anyone had a recent member's update about activities in Nuevo Vallarta? In November there were very ambitious plans concerning a water and theme park, an interior shopping mall, water taxis and the train station. Anyone have more recent information?

The train station across from the GB and the new entrance to the resort are being actively worked on...the rest??

I will be going down next week; will learn what I can from the update.

That said, my experience is that all their plans until construction begins (and continues) is "maybe". However, I must admit, the plans they do complete are quite nice.

An update after your vacation would be great. You just may want to check what construction is going on right now. We stayed in Tower I which was no problem at all, but folks in Tower III were not happy. Probably better to stay at the Grand Bliss or Mayan if they can't keep you out of the construction zone. Have a great time.

Will do. Four of us leave tomorrow. We had booked a one bedroom GL villa suite but because of the construction concern, had been unsuccessfully trying for a couple of months to switch to the 2 bedroom Grand Bliss; we tried again yesterday and was able to switch - timing is everything.
