Grand Luxe Jungle on II?

Has anyone been able to find the Grand Luxe Jungle at the Riveria Maya for 2021 With either exchange company? I stay there once in 2019 and once in 2020. I see nothing for 2021.
Is Vidante banking that resort elsewhere?

i posted here instead of the Mexico board as the question is about exchange.

It's available all of 2021 in RCI under resort ID # DN27, but restricted to Platinum level. Don't see anything in II. The RCI Platinum availability seems to be overflow from bulk deposits in Registry; not sure if they're depositing it into II. They've also been depositing Jungle Luxxe RM in ThirdHome lately.
 
It's listed as "Grand Luxxe Deluxxe One Bedroom at Vidanta Riviera Maya" in ThirdHome. Only availabilities there through 2020, but there are plenty.
 
I need Jan.2021, but not enough to upgrade to Platinum membership. I also notice today on Interval that fees at Vidante Resorts are going up unless you book by July 2020. I email my gal at SFX and fees there are still 75.00 for the week no matter what size unit. SFX must have a different contract with them.

If you have access to the registry collection, are exchange fees and point values for it similar to making the exchange through RCI or is it more expensive to use? I have been discussing the Registry Collection with some other TUGers and we are trying to get a sense of how it works. Thanks!

The resort fees are the same; exchange fee is higher. There are both a weeks version and a points version of Registry, so it depends on what you are using to trade in there. I'm on the weeks side of it with Vidanta; there are some other Tuggers on the points side (e.g., Monte Cristo Estates owners); you can go to theregistrycollection.com and peruse what the availability is; I believe it defaults to showing the points side of things. To complicate things, there are also corporate accesses such as for Wyndham PR owners with different exchange rates. Great opportunities for arbitrage....
 
Eric my RCI membership come from my Wyndham Points. Any idea how that would wrk if I upgraded to Platinum RCI? If you don’t know I’ll ask the question on the Wyndham board, although I do see you are a Wyndham owner. Thank you for the help.
 
I don't think you can upgrade to Platinum through the Wyndham RCI portal. You can get the GL units in RM as extra vacations through there, though. You have the extra vacation cost plus the resort fee that way, though. The GL Spa units availability that way are:

IMHO, you're better option is to contact SFX and see if they have availability. They have a very good contractual relationship with Vidanta and the resort fee going through them is only $75/week regardless of room size. They typically only get the GL Suite level; I'm not sure about Jungle Luxxe. They do take Wyndham week deposits; when I have extra Wyndham points I'm not going to be using, I look for a good discount on something in Florida and deposit weeks with them as studios or 1 BRs; with an SFX diamond level membership, which doesn't cost all that much, you get a free room size upgrade. I believe they charge a luxury upgrade fee of something like $299 going from a Wyndham to GL, but the all in cost last time I did it was ~$449 for the exchange into a 2 BR GL plus $75 for the resort fee plus the cost of the underlying week, which was ~$400 for that one.
 
Thanks Eric I did see these Grand Luxe Jungle weeks in RCI getaways, while the pricing is not outrageous it’s way more than I want to pay especially with the resort fees on top on that. Yes as I stated in an earlier post I do business with SFX. Trying to figure out what I have to bank with them. I have never banked a Wyndham week booked wth Points. Where would I go to figure out that procedure? As everyone does I’m looking for the least expensive avenue. I already know I can just rent from SFX way way cheaper then RCI getaways unless RCI is having a super sale. RCI Getaways does have Mayan Palace one bedroom For 309.00 for a week plus resort fees, but no 239.00 exchange fee. Unfortunately I’m spoiled with staying in the Grand resorts.
 
The SFX process is one you kind of just have to figure out. Go to their deposit a week page and start the process, click on the drop down for resorts you own and select add a resort to see which ones they take that you can book. Typically I wind up using Wyndham resorts in Florida; they'll take Hawaii, too, but those cost more. Once you've picked one out, check the calendar to see what they consider a high demand season week that will get you some bonuses, pick the week, book it in Wyndham and go through the deposit process with SFX. When you get the deposit form to sign, sign it and email the Wyndham confirmation email to SFX (I usually use both their catch all email and Anne Fleming <anne.fleming@sfxresorts.com>; she seems to be the one that typically deals with deposits, at least for me).

Once you have the week deposited and they've acknowledged it, keep an eye on Wyndham for discounts that pop up now and then. SFX doesn't care if you cancel a week you have deposited with it and substitute a rebooked one you got for a lower point cost - Wyndham refuses to work with them and confirm deposits, so it's pretty much an honor system where you will eventually get an email from SFX asking you to add a guest name to the reservation. Because Wyndham snubs the smaller exchanges, those exchanges that will accept Wyndham deposits don't care if it's the same confirmation number the guest uses as the one you deposited originally. Occasionally I get a few thousand points or so back by doing that; doesn't hurt having them back, but I only deposit there when I'm not using all my Wyndham points in a year anyway, so I may wind up dumping some in RCI at the end of the year anyway. About every other year I get a certificate for a free week at Buganvilias as a bonus for a deposit, too. I know some people don't like SFX much, but if you like going to Mexico, they're a good one to know how to use.
