Grand Crowne Resorts - question

I have a friend who just bought at this resort. Paid $9000.00 for the information listed below. Should he rescind? Thanks,
3 bedroom, sleeps 10

211,000 points every other year. In August you have to call and roll your points
over to the next year or you lose them.

One week any time cost you 47,500 points. You will have about 5 1/2 weeks every two
years.

If you need additional points they will cost $4.00 per 1000 pts.

Yearly maintenance fee which includes taxes is $403.00.

And if that isn't reason enough ask him why he would pay that much for that amount of points if he can buy extra points equal to that amount for $844 from them....

47,500 for a week I think is only for a one bedroom, off season at a 45 day window. Most of the time it would cost a lot ore than that. 211,000 points would give you about one week, off season, every other year for a 3 bedroom unit. In other words, 5 1/2 weeks is a very unrealistic expectation for that amount of points.

He could probably get the same thing on ebay for a few hundred dollars.

I see Grand Crowne in Branson 3 bedroom units for less than $1,000 on E-bay. I would NEVER pay retail at this resort if this is the one you're talking about
