Both Costco and Sams Club marked down the Garmin Nuvi 750 to $199. I'm glad I waited and it only took a couple of minutes in the parking lot to figure out how to use it and I hadn't ever used one before.

We have a 2yr old Magellan 760 model "Maggie" Dh calls her also tells you the street names. Worth getting one with that feature and also one in which you can program your trip and places of interest. Really a nice feature.

We did not want the music or photo features as you lose GPS function when you use the other features.

Sometimes it gets messed up in new construction. 3-4 yrs ago this sold for $1000. 2 yrs ago it was $650 online Amazon. Today on Ebay $200-$300. This is larger than todays hand held models but we love it. Best gift I bought him,

We are researching to buy 3 Gps for our adult "techie" sons so thanks for the posts.

The cell phone was ok but not easy to use at times like when recieving a call so we bought a tom tom which is much nicer.

I recently received the Garmin Nuvi 250 as a gift. I like that you can change the voice. I switched to the British voice since she has less of an attitude than the American voice. I think I might buy the Mexico map in the future. I didn't like the Magellan voice. She has a major attitude. "RECALCULATING!"
