Got my Disney trade today!

:D Well since I heard that Disney was leaving II I decided to try to exchange into Disney one more time.

Well today I got a one bedroom at Boardwalk Villas June 26-July 3rd. I am happy since I have never stayed at Boardwalk before. We were not planing on going to Disney World again this year, but figured that since it was our last chance to get into DVC we went for it.

Great trade! Awesome resort (love the location of it). Hard to find 1BRs there. Congrats!!!!
 
I grabbed a one bedroom a OKW Sept 12-19 that was online this morning.
We also have a 2 bd at OKW the last week in January that we reserved some time ago.
I'm so sad that we won't be able to exchange int DVC any longer.
We are DVC members and can still use our points, but we have really enjoyed the many exchanges we have been able to make into DVC properties.

The Boardwalk I grabbed was on line this am too (@4:45 am). I had an ongoing search with the same deposited week, but, I figured a bird in the hand was worth two in the bush so I grabbed it. I do not know if they would have had a match for my search or not.

I got a 1 bedroom Boardwalk online this am also. I had a confirmed exchange into SSR but saw the Boardwalk this am and we would much rather stay there so made the switch.

I have one more week I want to exhange into Disney. I am not sure when this fall but need to figure it out quick and put in a request and cross my fingers.

Ray ~ Good idea to grab that one on-line. I had a request in last year and the same thing happened. I am not sure how well the ongoing request system works.
