I do not own any bHC point so take what I am saying with a large grain of salt.
In looking at options it seemed the District (located in DC) might be a relatively cheaper way to gain entry (maintenance fee wise and perhaps purchase wise ) to NYC
If you already own in NYC another bHC ownerhip outside of NYC might provide you with cheaper bHC points that could be used in bHC NYC properties that you already own

I currently have probably too many points than I need right now but have definitely considered adding The District resale in the future to add to the bHC pool. My initial goal was to have ownerships at W57 and the Quin to have booking priorities and anything on top of that is fine. The W57 three weeks were two different eBay purchases that were relatively cheap and and I didn’t think would pass ROFR. I really don’t have interest in owning at The Central or The Residences.

Thanks for the detail.

This is something I hadn't seen confirmed previously. so you can use all of your bHC points at, say, W. 57th at 9 months? I wonder if this is because they're NYC hBC points, i.e. would DC behave the same way at the 9 month mark?

Cheers.
Yes - I’ve been able to test my theory that bHC points are not separate buckets and can be used interchangeably if you own at multiple bHC properties. At least for now :sneaky:

Do you mean in the club booking window? So District owners can book W57 at nine months, and vice versa?

My interest is NYC so DC hasn't been on our radar. But it would be good to know about this flexibility, for future reference.

My interpretation (and @Smclaugh99 please correct me if I'm wrong) that, as long as you own any points at that bHC location, all of your bHC can be used at that location for Club. I don't think that a non-owner at a given location at a specific bHC gets Club Window at that resort. Again, that's how I'm interpreting the comment.

Cheers.
Yes. That’s exactly right. You have to own at the location(s) to get the booking advantage. It’s just if there are two or more BHC ownerships you can use all of your BHC bucket at any of those places during their respective early booking times. Clear as mud? Of course!

Sean

Not so sure.
