Hello,

I have a timeshare in Virginia, and am wondering if it would be useful to list rental of the timeshare on the TUG website and if anyone has had good luck renting (or selling) a timeshare on the TUG website.

Thank you!

Lots of people have rented out and/or sold their TSs on TUG. It's very cheap to list here on TUG. The one problem I see for you is that your TS has very little resale value (probably close to zero).

It really depends on the week, the resort (location) and rental price. TUG folks are generally frugal travelers and have access to more lower cost options than the general public... but if priced right and/or a popular location/week, you can rent successfully via TUG.

I also use Craigslist and - occasionally - RedWeek (also depends on location, week and price.) I've never tried ebay, though I've heard others have had success there.

Edited to add... if you join TUG, you get a good amount of credits to use for ads in the TUG Marketplace. It's definitely worth $15/year.
