We love Marks Place, so much food we always have leftovers for lunch the next day, but remember they are only open M-F until 2pm. Thanks to Kauai revealed we discovered it about 5 or 6 years ago. Although back then it wasn't as easy to find as it was only industrial then....the area is much more built up now.

I like the little Beach Hut fish and chips place by the Marriott in Lihue. I think it is called Beach Hut, but I am not sure. I love fish and chips, and even Rick will eat their fish. It's a little place, only open at lunch, and it is so good.

I think you are talking about the Kalapaki Beach Hut? We just eat there this past week. Located between Duke's and JJ's Broiler. they have a pretty good breakfast deal.

Al: Sorry we couldn't hook up for a few minutes on Friday nite--we just got in too late and too tired.

I got the Saimin to go.,. That place is just too crowded and about 105 degrees with matching humidity.
