My apologies, I know this has been posted previously but I cannot find the post.

I am looking for a good contact at Wyndham corporate.

My questions will be regarding titling of deeds, new ones in addition to existing ones that are in a trust.

I am pretty sure I want to leave current ownership as in, in a trust. But add a new deed with all siblings so all can use, linking with the current ownership so VIP benefits are extended.

I'd like to run my plan by someone at corporate that knows what they are talking about, before I pull the trigger.

Many here have provided advice over the past year and I'm pretty sure this is what I want to do, I'd like to (try) to run it by a reputable Wyndham person. Any suggestions on best person to contact?

there is no one in Wyndham that will provide this advice. nor should they. how you title your property has consequences (especially when you sell and especially when you die) and any advice you get in this area should come from your estate attorney

My questions for Wyndham are specific to how titlling the deed will affect my Wyndham ownership. I understand that it is my responsibilty to decide if a trust is appropriate or not, right of surviorship, etc.

It is very frustrating to me that straight answers are so hard to come by. It seems like a crap shoot -- do your homework for what you think will work, and then try it.

I'm looking for someone at Wyndham you can trust to give you correct answers before making a purchase.

If you want someone you can trust at Wyndham Vacation Ownership/Resorts you may have trouble finding them. However, if you want procedural answers, you can contact a supervisor, no lower, at the Title Department and a supervisor, no lower, in what they now call Customer Care. The primary difference, as far I can tell, is straight title issues are handled by Title and how any given deed or contract relates to the VIP program is Customer Care. It never hurts with Wyndham to talk to two different supervisors in both. Rarely, in my experience, do any two Wydham employees say the same thing on the same question. I think you have broke the code. "do your homework for what you think will work, and then try it." is the bottom line.

If what you are trying to do is have one deed with all the names on it to get all VIP Access to the account, then you may want to ask to have all benificaries of the trust added to the computer owners list. They should do this no problem. If everyone you want to have on the list is not a benificary of the existing account, this is where the Estate Attorney comes in. You may need to re-do the trust terms to accomplish what you are seeking to do.

Unless something has changed I'm not sure it's possible to do what you are looking to do with adding another contract to add people to your account. From what I have been told all the deeds need to be titled the same way for them to be combined into 1 account. Even if you could deed it the way you suggest, for the new deed to have extended VIP benefits it needs to be under the same member number giving access to all of your points for anyone you are trying to add. Also as an FYI you will not be able to get any kind of confirmation from title services about what they tell you. Nothing in writing, no copy of the phone call, nothing. Trust me I have tried.

Thanks everyone, I will let you know how all this ends up (titling the deeds, combining accounts, adding names to the account, and VIP benefits apply). It is something I've been researching for quite some time (as many of you know). I'll be moving forward with some of the things we feel need to be done.

And don't worry... I understand this is two-fold. Wyndham is but a part of an estate (trust). I am looking at the Wyndham aspect of it (how best to own and manage it maintaining the VIP benefits) as well as the estate side of things (how best to ensure my father's wishes are carried out, including protecting other assets in the trust as well as protecting my own personal assets).
