Back in 1993---that's a LONG time ago

I played Myrtle Beach Nat'l (what may be King's Course now?) Nice course, has a hole with a greenside 'S' shape and 'C' shape (for South Carolina).

MANY courses in Myrtle Beach are nice---have fun!!!

Pat (an AVID golfer!!)

Beer and Wings

Since it's your buddy's 50th, if you like bars with sports atmosphere try Murphy's Law 3rd ave South. Great beer and wing with lots of sports on tvs and sport memorabilia on the walls. Our group of 8 guys always go there once or twice during or golf week.

MB National has some nice packages. I'm pretty sure all the courses your playing are affiliated. I will be playing Willowbrook in March when I go down. All the others, I have played at least once. River Club was a washout when I played, but the course was in good condition and it was mid summer. This is probably the least attractive course on your list. West is also so, so, but North is amazing. If you're a so so golfer, move up on the tee box for this one. There are some very challenging holes. Blackmoor is also very well groomed with some narrow hole and nice rolling greens.

That's a pretty good price for a package also for that time of year. The highest golf season ends around the end of April. Kings North is $150 alone if you don't book through a package. Blackmoor is around $100 as is Willowbrook. West and River Club are in the 60-70 range.

I'm sure you'll have a great time, but it doesn't look like you'll have too much extra time.

We just switched Blackmoor to Aberdeen to be closer to the airport on the way.We will be driving from Raliegh is there any courses you can recommend on th eway down close to I95.(i was thinking fayetville).

50th Birthday or Anniversary

Wish I was 50 again.

If it was buddy's 50th aniversary that would be another story, right?
