Anybody heard of them? Seller requiring using them, but seller paying closing costs.

An escrow company holds the funds during the transaction.

A title company prepares and files the documents.

How much are you paying for this timeshare?

GO Properties Services LLC will perform the closing (non-negotiable). Closing costs include account inquiry, document prep, recording services and resort notification.
All funds (Payment) are held by GO Properties Services LLC, a licensed, bonded and insured Real Estate/Closing Company. Funds will be held by GO Properties Services LLC escrow until ownership has been transferred.
 
So they are doing both - escrow and title.

Is this an ebay purchase?

Who is the seller?

How much are you paying?

How much are you paying for the timeshare?

It doesn't make financial sense to pay for title insurance for a free or cheap timeshare.

Instead, do your own due diligence to make sure you know what you are buying.

For example, did you request an estoppel letter from the closing company?

I didn't make any sense for me...it insures the value of the purchase price paid. So unless you are paying a lot, which off eBay is probably not the case, it isn't very valuable.

When mine used GO Properties I got the esstoppl. I called the resort to verify what I was reading was true.

They did a good job for me.

GREAT People to deal with. Dealt with Eric for an ODD MGV (Even got exercised by Mattiott). Would not hesitate to do it again any minute. Honest and Easy.
 
Did not win the auction

This was an Ebay auction, and ended at $3600+, more than my max bid. Thanks for all the replies.
 
Great seller- I've dealt with Eric and Gary. Great to work with, closing was quick and efficient! Would buy from again with no hesitation
