I’m a long time werks owner at [deleted]. My kids are grown and gone and we are no longer interested in keeping our week. How can we get rid of it?

Sell it or give it away.
Redweek, here on Tug, eBay, etc.
Have the buyer pay closing fees.

Lots of ads on redweek- for a start have a look to see what prices people are listing and if they are selling.

MVC also has an exit department. Seems a shame to give it back to them rather than letting someone else enjoy it in you can find a taker.
Use the search feature here to bring up recent threads on the topic.

I gave back my Vistana week, cost $400 to Marriott. Done in 2 months. Also some the weeks @ other resorts do seem to have a value, Marriott will let you know if they will pay for it.

How were you able to give back your Vistana week. I have several weeks [deleted] that I maybe needing to let go, they are all paid for. I have not had any luck trying to rent nor sell.

Call owner services, they will have someone contact you. All done by secure email and local notary. They even paid for the Fedx back!

Post it here if it is free. Use LT transfer for the transfer process. You may pay for or ask the buyer to pay for the transfer cost.

Easy to sell [deleted] as high demand and top property "for the better seasons." You did not describe it beyond [deleted] - please share the season and view info. Go to Redweek and look at current listings and sales.

Many on this site would love to buy including us. You do not need to pay an agent to sell this one - jsut list it on Redweek. People here will help you complete the transaction between you and the buyer if you need help.

I hope you have had many happy vacations there - it's one of our favorites for the family.

[Moderator Note: A reminder that ads are not permitted in the TUG public forums. If someone can read your post and know exactly what it is you're trying to sell/buy/rent, that's an ad (as opposed to a post asking generic questions about how to sell/buy/rent any Marriott products.) Several posts here edited and the thread is locked.]
