Getting Ready for Our Daughter's Visit to Molokai

We just got a text from Ke Nani Kai and our unit is ready and we can check in early so we are on our way. 🤙🏻
 
We made it and I was wrong, we are in our favorite unit. I thought we were one unit down. This one is nice and close to the pool and we are on the second floor. 🤙🏻

I was the bird whisper this morning. They were all over. This Cardinal kept coming back to say Hi. He came to about 3 feet of me and stayed a long time. It didn't bother him at all that I was moving around taking Pictures.

They got tired and decided to sit around. Lol

We're at the airport to pick them up. The airport is packed. Lol

They were all boarded but then they had to deplane because there was a low tire. Lol

Still waiting to hear how long this will delay things.
 
They made it!! Only about an hour later than scheduled. Not bad for Mokulele.

That6oir Molokai airport. With only nine people on a plane, it doesn't get too crowded. Lol
 
Now that is my kind of airport. No lost luggage or standing around waiting for your luggage on a carousel .

Please enjoy your children and their friends on this vacation.

Plus, take plenty of pictures.
 
We will be in MAUI June 11th- 25th 2026 Slip Are the inter island flights to Molokai expensive? I would like to go there for a few days and say Helo to you guys if that might work. Is it hard to reserve Ke Nani Kai for a couple of days?

Aloha

That's a great way to see if you would like it or not. When we first started coming here round trip was $100. Now round trip is close to $250 so not cheap.

I own at Ke Nani Kai so I don't know about getting it otherwise. But there are a few places to stay. The best place to check is VRBO.

Well we made it out to Kepuhi Beach and we even hot up Papohaku Beach. Then we went into town and picked up some Poke and a short my daughter wanted. Then we took them out to the Wharf and I showed them the boat we'll be taking our whale watch on. We made ot home in time to throw in the Lasagna and we'll be eating soon.

It was a great first day. Tomorrow is golfing and getting to the Pole place earlier. Then we are heading out to our condo at WaveCrest. 🤙🏻

We had our lasagna and Cheesecake last night. Both were excellent. We went golfing today and even stopped in Kaunakakai for some fresh Ahi. $10 a pound so pretty good for fresh caught this morning Ahi. We got a nice 4lb chunk.

Now we are at WaveCrest. Our daughter has a meeting for work and she is going to show off frim our lanai. Lol

Then we are going to head to Goodz and Grindz for some lunch to bring back to the pool.🤙🏻
