Getaway Deal At Welk

Today's II Deal Of The Day inspired me to look to see if I might be able to snag an attractive Getaway to the San Diego area, where our youngest son lives, to visit him and our DIL before Christmas. I was able to snag a full 1BR at Welk Mountain Resort for the week before Christmas for $378 including tax! Wow! About $55/night for a very nice resort in Southern California at Christmastime.

This is why we love timesharing. :cheer:

And since the Deal Of The Day was exercised, we get a certificate for another week at some point in the future. Granted, it will be for a low demand season, but since we're empty nesters, we just need to work around my pretty flexible work schedule.

II runs Deal Of The Day promotions for 10-12 day periods two or three times per year. Stay tuned for the next one.

Good job. I own Welk San Diego (Escondido really) it's been great weather when we've gone on Christmas. Enjoy.
