We are here for the Eagles concert at the Sphere, reservation thru Marriott Bonvoy at the Luxor. Hotel greeter asked us about our plans, said, you are a nice couple, I have gifts for you, took us to a "service desk". Desk person said she was going to "give" us $200 to use at the casino, restaurants etc.. or tickets to one of several shows. She also offered $25 additional dollars for Uber. Then she says, she would need a $50 deposit and a tour at one of two resorts in their inventory. They were both WYNDHAM! Talk about crossover! Wyndham recruiting inside a Mariott managed property! We politely said no, and went on our way.

Luxor is not a "Marriott managed property." It is owned and managed by MGM Resorts International, who clearly will enter into cross-dressing relationships with any hotel/timeshare brand willing to pay the price. It is, after all, Las Vegas.:LOL::LOL:

When I first bought into Wyndham, I was dragged into a presentation I didn't even know was a timeshare presentation in Vegas. Wyndham had an office in the shops area of either Caesars Palace or The Mirage, or possibly Treasure Island. We were staying at Caesars and they bussed us to Grand Desert.

Our first presentation was being tricked into a Worldmark presentation that was supposed to be a look at pre-construction Suncadia Resort lots. I didn't have a clue they were trying to sell timeshares. I had to call a realtor to show us the lots.
