Frustrated-Banking 2007 week!

I've been trying to get 2007 week banked for over 2 weeks now. Maintance fees are paid. Once my check cleared I called my resort, they said okay, but we have to send this to the resort who takes care of this which will take about 5 days, I said okay. About 5 days I called the other resort, they said I need to contact my home resort. I told them they said you take care of the banking. So I was transfered to an ext. and let a message. This back and forth conversation went on for about 3 days. Tuesday of this week my home resort left a message on my answering machine saying the week is deposited. Pulled up RCI on line, "You have no weeks avaiable for exchange". So I called RCI they said it shows they didn't deposit it! So the next day I called my home resort, left message. The day after I called my resort, left message. Finally my resort called me last night. They said it's banked. The information on banking was for 2006! I told her I've had that banked since June of 2005! I told her this is wasting valuable time for me to get a resort I want! I told her I banked to late last year (June), and I'm not getting the exchanges I want! She apologized and that someone would call me today. I own at the Royal Floridian Ormond Beach Fl., a resort in Hilton Head S.C. takes care of the M.F., etc. These are owned by Spinnaker. Has this ever happened to any of you? :mad: :mad: :mad:

Join the club. Read my post just above this re: Summer Bay Las Vegas deposit with RCI.

I'm now over 3 weeks and still waiting although they promise it will today or tomorrow. We'll see.

We are going to your home resort next week on an RCI trade and have been in contact with the resort manager - Alexis Barstow. He has been extremely helpful and very customer service oriented. I am certain that if you call him that he will be able to help you with getting your week deposited with RCI if he has control over the issue.

Still Frustrated!

R. Floridian left a message on my answer machine(she was to call me at work, she didn't get that part of the message!). When I got home from work I listened to the message- "We have deposited your 2006 week". Are these people "BRAIN DEAD"! I immediately called R.F., it was 6:50pm. Of course everyone had gone home. I demanded to speak to someone, there was no one. So I had the desk clerk take a message, and expected some one to call me Sat. by 9:15! Well the lady I've been dealing with must have still been there, she called 10 minutes later. I told her I've lost 3 weeks now with this nonsence! 2006 was deposited June of 2005, I want 2007 deposited. She was sounding "humble", and very apologetic (even though that will not help me get the exchange I desire!). She said it would get resolved in 72 hours, and she would email someone (maybe with RCI) before she went home. She promisied to call me at work tommorrow. This has never happened before. Ever since the S.C. Hilton Head Resort handle these matters it used to be a piece of cake. If I don't get a phone call tommorrow I will be calling "Alex". I will keep you all posted! :mad:

Still Nothing!

Today is Monday 2/27 still no deposit. After talking to the lady at Royal Floridian(one day last week). She said it had been deposited in Palace View. I asked her "What's Palace View?" "The Spinnaker resort in Branson." I told her "I own at Royal Floridian!!!!" :eek: "Oh, she said that must have been a mistake." Saturday she left a message on my answering machine. She told me "Mary" had been faxed about this and it would get straightened up Monday. She has mentioned the name "Mary" a couple of times, I'm wondering if this is all "Mary's" fault! :rolleyes: I have no idea who Mary is. Well we will see what happens today! It's been 23 days now since my M.F.'s have been paid! That's how long I have been trying to deposit this week with RCI! :mad:

Finally!

When I got home from work last night my 2007 week was finally deposited! :D It took exactly 20 days! I pray I don't run into this problem for 2008! :eek:
