Friday the 13th

Every Friday the Thirteenth is an anniversary of sorts for me...

On Friday, May 13, 1983 at approximately 0100, I finally located the courage to tell my future Dear Sweet Bride that I loved her...followed by a rather nervous few seconds of silence that seemed to take forever...until she returned the favor.

Here we are some 29 years later and still marking Friday the 13th as a special day...

Guess I did one thing right!
 
OUr grandson was born on Friday, May 13th, 2005. That was a great day.
 
One of my very best friends was born on Friday the 13th, so I feel it is a lucky day for me!

I survived Hurricane Charley on Friday the 13th, 2004 in Punta Gorda, FL and today, Friday, the 13th my husband had a colonoscopy with no big problems so I guess we have 2 occasions to celebrate on Friday, the 13th.
 
Congrats!

BTW, Friday the 13th's have been special in our family too. My first nephew was born on Friday the 13th's . . . the first on 3/13/81 and the second on 1/13/84.
 
My only auto accident ever was on a Friday the 13th. It was just a fender bender, but it is still on my mind yesterday.
