Free week, trades well

We own a week at Barefoot Resort in Lead, SD in the late summer (week 38) that we would like to give to someone who would use or trade it. Lead is in the Black Hills, near Mt. Rushmore. The unit is two bedrooms/2 bath. It is a red week and we have never converted to points. But it trades like a dream. The maintenance fee is right around $500, which, if you’ve looked around, you’ll know is less than half the average at other resorts. We have even traded for weeks in England and Scotland.
We are retired now and don’t travel the way we used to. We’d rather give it to someone, maybe with a family, who would enjoy two bedrooms, than list it with a broker. Hi. Oh, I am sorry Like I said, we never switched to points, so I don’t know. I would think it might be pretty good as it was/is a red week.

Are you trading in II or RCI? If RCI, there would be TPUs associated. Nobody will be interested without that information. Like trying to sell a car without the year and mileage.

Okay. My husband says he thinks it is 25 TPUs. But, I’m not clear, why wouldn’t anyone be interested if we’re giving it away?

Which building is your 2 bedroom unit located in?

The Barefoot Resort is located across the street
from Terry Peak Ski Area in Lead, South Dakota.

It offers deluxe 1, 2, and 3 bedroom condominiums, plus a 4 bedroom cabin. Units come complete with full kitchens, fireplaces, linens, towels, kitchen supplies, and patios/balconies with fabulous views. Some units also have personal saunas. Daily cleaning service is available upon request, and the cost will vary depending on unit size. These fully furnished smoke-free accommodations make Barefoot Resort the perfect place for a relaxing year-round vacation.

Amenities include indoor pools, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, sauna, gas grills, convenience store, laundry facilities, and fitness rooms.

PET POLICY: No pets are allowed at this property.

Sorry. We’ve never actually stayed there. We bought it strictly to trade, which we have done for twenty years.

Just as an FYI - I looked this resort up on RCI. There are two versions of two bedroom units. The sleeps 6 gets 22 TPU for week 38 2021 and the sleeps 8 gets 25 TPU for the same week.

We stayed in a three bedroom unit, I believe the two bedroom were ina different building and were more up to date than the three bedroom
