I read that message to say the offer began on 5/11/25, with no explicit expiration date. I can confirm, having just fulfilled a waitlist request this morning, that there is indeed no charge for it.

weird is that the message just popped up now, I have not seen it pop up since may.

Make sure you disable pop-up blockers for the Wyndham website - otherwise you won't see pop-ups like this most of the time.

It's been free for a while, I remember seeing a pop up as well as it being on the spash screen after you log in
