Anyone ever use those sites that offer unlimited movie downloads for a monthly or lifetime membership? I'm looking at this outfit Online Movie Access or these guys Internet Downloads

I wonder what kind of selection we're talking about. Do they offer the latest releases?

Both of those look like sites that are selling access to illegal peer-to-peer download networks like kazaa, winmx or limewire. I don't believe there are any legitimate online movie download sites where you can simply pay a monthly fee or a lifetime membership. So far I believe they're all pay-per-download like iTunes.

But Limewire is free. What's the difference between these pay sites & Limewire?

With Limewire you don't have to pay for the privilege of breaking the law :D

right! the websites appear to charge $$ for the free (illegal) "file-trading" programs.

So it goes back to what RichM says here:

Cinemanow is the only legal site I know about.
They offer 24 hour rentals as well as a buy option where you download and can burn your own dvd.
They offer a free 7 day Trial on there premium monthly membership where you get unlimited rentals from a select library of movies.

They also have a free section available to all website vistors that has a nice travel videos section with videos of 37 different distinations.
