Just curious: what does that mean/matter?

Ski resorts are typically open Thanksgiving weekend so if someone wanted to ski they'd want to book week 47. I think week 16 will be a little late in the season for Park City, however skiing would very likely still be available at Snowbird and other resorts. I've gone in May :)

I was giving the seller tips on how to sell with the official Marriott resale department and then realized this person posting is actually not the owner.

Ski 16-24 and 39-47. How exactly?

Mtb maybe. Hike yes.

Exactly. No one should buy this for a ski week. Title is incorrect.

With the timeshare being free and as someone that loves to ski, I'd probably consider it for the week 47 Thanksgiving ski option. Great trading week too. The title should probably say Ski Thanksgiving Week

The title was just an option. I have had friends that went to this resort in November and were able to ski so I was just throwing it out there that it is definitely a possibility and very nice resort.

The MF is twice what you posted. And, this should be a great trader with the in-network preference in II. Wonder why seller can't sell. It's a Marriott.

Difficulty is that #47 is one of 18 weeks in the season. And the last one. If you don't get it, you're then left with the most undesirable of the mud weeks.

The Ad says even years.

Does Marriott trade within a Marriot group at II?

I am curious as to whether one could trade this within a Marriott grouping for a certain time before it goes out to the main pool. Fall in Park City could be very nice as well, but I'd like a brief summary of where Marriott gets you on the pecking order in II without having to read through the whole Marriott thread, if someone could help?:ponder:

Marriott trades on II with 'Marriott Preference' that's it. see below. I see lots of Marriott inventory (with pref) just prior to and after 59 days fwiw. good luck

There is a preference period where only Marriott owners can see other Marriott weeks that have been deposited for exchange. This preference period can range from 0 days up to 24. That said, a lot of deposited weeks have less of a preference period. A recent Lakeshore Reserve bulk bank didn't have any preference attached. The bulk could be seen by any II member with any week. This was even with weeks that were well outside flexchange. (dioxide45; minor edit)

The Marriott preference still applies during flex, jut not nearly as long. (I think) it is 2 or 3 days. Non Marriott's can still snag high demand weeks during flex due to cancellations. When someone cancels or retrades, the week may not have the preference since it already cleared it once. Some Marriott developer and trust deposits may also not have the preference period. I own a Silver week at Summit Watch and have gotten pretty good trades. One difference is there is week 15, which tends to be the last week of ski season, at Summit Watch is considered Silver Season. I always reserve that week or Thanksgiving week.

For this year I traded the 1 bedroom portion for a 1 bedroom at Maui Marriott Ocean Club in August. Used the studio for a studio at Mountainside in January.

For last year I deposited the entire 2 bedroom into II to see if that helped my trade power. II gave me an accommodation certificate, so I did have 2 weeks anyway. I got a 1 bedroom at Mountainside for first week of February. I used the accommodation certificate for a week in a 2 bedroom at Mountainside in the spring.
