I was once the owner of a unit that I couldn't pay anyone to take. Very sad situation when it comes to this. Is it an 'independent ' resort? Wouldn't think it could be true for a unit in Hawaii. Poor management?

The best thing about Kuhio Banyan is it’s RCI trading power. A Studio unit over Christmas week gets 46 TPU. I used to own there, and my deposited week (pre-TPU) got me to the Manhattan Club in New York City. I only stayed at Kuhio Banyan once, and agree, there are better options for a Hawaii vacation. But the trading power is pretty darn good.

I have never been there, and the reviews seem mostly positive to me. The 'club' on the ground floor seems to be the biggest complaint. Every review I read says the locations is fantastic.

My parents loved a resort in Florida that you couldn't pay me to visit again. Too each their own.
