Free to a good home is a gold 2 bedroom week at Sheraton Broadway Plantation. 2013 maintenance was 924.25.

I own too many weeks which is why I've been giving some some away.

I will do the transfer and pay all transfer fees. You won't owe a cent until 1/1/2014.

These can be used for some pretty good trades with Interval because of several factors:

1) First, all Starwood weeks get first look at exchanges into other Starwood resorts such as Westin Ka'anapali.

2) Second, Starwood deposits seem to get higher trading power into other Starwood resorts.

3) Third, because this is a 2 bedroom week, you can place an ongoing search for other 2 bedroom units. This gives you priority over those who wait until bulk deposits are visible on the website. Note that the maintenance is relatively low for a Starwood 2 bedroom.

The combination of these factors has allowed me to consistently trade my Broadway Plantation gold weeks for 2 bedroom units at Westin Ka'anapali.

(If you want to actually stay at Broadway Plantation using the week, the Gold season is for weeks 1, 7-8, 44-46, 48, and 51-52.)

Maintenance would start January 1, 2014. Once you're an owner you can choose to deposit your 2014 usage to Interval immediately to do an exchange. (Starwood will require that you prepay the estimated 2014 maintenance at the time you deposit.)

Here are some of my recent trades into 2 bedroom units at Westin Ka'anapali using Gold SBP weeks:

August 2011
September 2011
October 2011
January 2012
April 2012
June 2012
January 2013
August 2013
October 2013

(I live in Hawaii, so it's a short trip.)

With the exchange fee, I'm paying less than 150 per night for each 2 bedroom stay.

I am interested. :)

Is this a non-lock off unit, or is it a lock-off? How many SF and is there a floor plan? Are there any other expenses besides the $924? I assume you have more than one unit such that you can get 3 WKORV exchanges in a year? ;)

Thanks very much! :)

It's a non-lockoff. That's why the maintenance is so low.

I don't have a floorplan and I've never stayed there so I can't tell you much about it. I've only used it for trading.

There aren't any other expenses from ownership. You will need to pay an annual fee for an Interval account and Interval exchange fees ($119 for trades to other Starwood properties) if you want to use them.

Yes I've got a bunch of these. I'm keeping several, but don't need all the ones I've got.

I have a similar Gold week that I can offer FREE to anyone who is interested. PM me with your info to discuss.

[This forum is only for offering free timeshares - not for soliciting them. If you look at the first post, you will see that that OP is offering a gold week and the dates it can be reserved.]

Does anybody know if, in II, one can add a Starwood week to a Worldmark account? And if the account is primarily a WM account, does the Starwood week qualify for the $119 exchange fee?

still available.

Still available. Check the sightings forum for some good deposits this can trade into.

Why don't you call the WM desk at II ?

Starwood to Starwood always gets the discounted exchange fee in II regardless of what was the original TS in the account. You can add a (non SVN) Starwood week to an interval account that has been primarily a Worldmark account.
