Hi,

I am not VIP and have been reading other threads, I thought I read some where that owner has 1 free guest certificate, is it true?
I can't find anything in my account...

I own the deed, husband's name is not on it but he will be travelling with the kids, in the past I had called the resort (sky tower), added his name and he could check in, but then this time, he will be 6 hours away and I don't want to take the chance...

thanks

Easy way to find out is to go through the motions of adding a guest in the online system. The count of free GC will be on the page. If it says 1 or more you have a free one.

great. thanks.

the following is what I found when I tried to add a guest, it seems that I do have a complimentary guest cerficate.
What does it mean by a transaction combines two reservation? I thought I have to enter one reservation at a time, does it mean two transactions if I were to enter two reservations in a day?

If you have used your complimentary Guest Confirmations for the year, adding a guest online will require a $99 fee or you may add a guest by calling a Vacation Planning Counselor for a $129 fee. If your transaction combines two reservations and you add the guest during your initial booking, one Guest Confirmation is required and the guest will be added to both reservations.

At time of booking you can get away with making 1 GC apply to both parts of a split reservation. If the booking is made first, then later a GC is added, it generally wants to charge you 2 GCs to complete the transaction.

The only work around if the reservation already exists is to call and ask them nicely to consider it one reservation, and ask them to waive the charges for the 2nd reservation.

The computer system sees it as 2 reservations.
