Good luck with the resort transfer fee. You would have better luck if you paid the whole thing.

It seems like a generous offer to me! The resort transfer fee isn't a junk fee, it's basically prepaying the next two years of your maintenance fees. So, Read537 is paying closing costs and giving the new owner $750 towards next year's MF's ($871).

I agree with your assessment PamMo. I purchased (for free) the same week at Southwind on HHI with almosT the same arrangement from a fellow Tugger late last year. The $1500 is required by Spinnaker and is 100% towards future maint fees. Our first use this year seemed almost like a freebie even though we had actually paid for it. Read537, if this does not sell in the next month or two I may be interested. I have some other obligations that need to be dealt with (we are moving) but once the dust settles I’ll be looking for another week 23 on HHI so the kids can join us.

What is the internal fee for trading for a different week? The week isnt bad but with Kids still in school I am just wondering what it would cost

Any update @Read537 ? Also how is this resort? The reviews on tug are mostly older so I wanted to get your feel on this. Also is it family friendly?

I checked with Spinnaker. The only way to trade for a different week at Egret Point is to go through your trading company, ie RCI or II. They are not set up for internal transfers, so you would have to pay the normal exchange fee. Egret Point is very family friendly. The condo is on the second floor at the end of the building, quite private. Parking is just outside the condo, the pool is across the parking lot. Shipyard Plantation has a private beach entrance (need to drive there). You can pull up to unload, park nearby for free, then a shuttle will take you back to the beach. Not sure how familiar you are with Hilton Head. It's a great place for families, lots to do there, beach, biking, kayaking, nature trails. You can even take a boat ride to Savannah for the day! We've had our grandchildren there several times and they were never at a loss for things to do. Hope I've answered your questions.

According to what I found on the web, the only Motorcycles allowed on Shipyard Plantation have to be stored in a garage. As Egret Point does not have garages, I would say no.
