I just read over 10 of the tug reviews of Four Seasons Aviara trying to find out information about the studio. Unlike reviews for many resorts, the first reviews don't actually describe the units in detail. Can anyone tell me the approximate square footage and what cooking facilities exist in the kitchen of the studio?

It's been awhile, but while it no doubt has been remodeled, the basics are probably the same: The kitchen is minimal, but decent for that type. It's behind a closet door with a sink, some counter space, under counter refrigerator and a microwave. Enough dishes and utensils etc for that type of kitchenette. No cooktop (which is the thing I was always looking for).
The bed doesn't take up the whole space so there is room to sit and read. There's room for a sofa off to the side + a small table and chairs.

I just scored a 2-bedroom for May 31-June 7th. I have never been to this Four Seasons. I have read mixed reviews ranging from "not worth it" to "utterly fabulous.

I have traded three times to North Troon in one- and two-bedroom units, and it is my favorite timeshare anywhere because of the utterly fantastic staff, nice units, and use of the resort next door, mainly the women's spa steam, hydrotherapy, and sauna. I have never dined at the resort restaurants, just the residences' one for lunch. I know Aviara has not been associated with a hotel since it became a Park Hyatt years ago. I am also aware that they have been remodeling for the past year.

My husband has wanted to go to this resort since we first scored Troon North some years back.

Questions: Has anyone been recently who can tell me if this is worth keeping, or if I should trade for somewhere else? Is the remodeling completed or ongoing? If ongoing, is it noisy or otherwise bothersome? Is a unit that is not yet upgraded "bad"? Are there some places in the resort that are better than others (quieter, easier to get to facilities, etc.) that I should request if available? Should I just back out and keep searching?

Thanks for any advice you have.
