take this for example, which is WILD to me. I promise you I have not altered this response nor prompted it in any way shape or form.
While im sure i could tweak it(and probably will), i think anyone legitimately asking this question after finding TUG would be more than satisfied with the answer:

Didn't know you had to pay per query/chat. Apologies for my "test" chat.this one is chatbase...its currently using chatgpt...though they offer the ability to select from all the different ais available today (claude/gemini/grok/etc).
the different versions and complexities cost different "credits" per chat
another impressive answer without any input or revisions!
Very low prices, relative to the resort, are more likely to be exercised on.
that said, it would probably answer the same thing for any resort phrased in that fashion so your suggestion is a valid one! ill see if i can add something.
Jump to New button for me is at the top on Chrome mobile, and the chat bot is bottom right, so no conflict here.I don’t mind the option and see its benefit. I just don’t like the location as it is covering something I use all the time in desktop browser. Though I suppose lower right is where these things tend to be.
This isn't the Jump to new button. This is a button in the bottom right when you start scrolling up it shows up to click on. When you do, it jumps to the top of the thread page. I use it because the second line of the menu (with Watched) doesn't show up unless you are at the top of the page. After reading through a thread, I like to go back to my watched thread. That little button saves some time. Especially for pages with lots of posts or with posts from certain people that like to put a long set of carriage returns with a period way down at the bottom after their post.Jump to New button for me is at the top on Chrome mobile, and the chat bot is bottom right, so no conflict here.
I see it on the left now and it doesn't block anything that I use. I see the button is now blue instead of black.ah, i see it now....interesting.
my only option is to move it to the left...which i just did. assuming noone hates that i really dont care which side its on lol
I agree 100%. Also, if it has to be on every page, the icon could be about 1/5 the size.I will say, I do find the chatbot overlays super annoying, like, why not be a normal button in the interface that you go to if you need help? At least if you've created an account and logged in it seems like there should be a way to put it as a link under like Help & Advice rather than being there all the time all "Clippy" like.
IDK why so many websites decided to put "Clippy 2.0" on their sites and not learn from history lol.
Then again, maybe I'm just such a techie that the idea of going to a menu is too high tech for people now, or IDK having a button I go to to do a think when I want to vs having it hovering in case I forget how to use buttons or something.
The left is better as it doesn't exactly interfere with anything, but I think for me a simple specific TUG Forum page that activates the chatbot makes more sense than a "are you sure you didn't want the chatbot?" there all the time.
