Announced today,the Beach will be re opening in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday May 26...all beach goers must maintain a 6 foot Social distance Except with members of their own family..no loungers...umbrellas,coolers,volleyball or group gatherings of more than 10 people allowed..of course swimming,paddle boarding,surfing is allowed..hotels will be allowed to open...beach open sunrise to sunset..good news

Let’s hope they follow the guidelines. Daytona was not yesterday, I didn’t go, but lots of others went.

Let’s pray no spikes from Daytona crowds. People have been cooped up far too long. Sprinkle in lack of social adherence and bingo, recipe for disaster.
 
Nice warm day in Fort Lauderdale today...only a few people walking the beach.
 
The beach looked almost empty this Thursday May 28th morning
