last March many of us applied for a refund of fees charged by Visa, Master Card, etc for foreign transactions. The claim had to filed by May in order to get a refund of the fees. Has anyone heard further about this? I had forgotten about it until I found the info in my travel file. I guess they are hoping we all forgot about it.

Nope, haven't heard a word. We'll probably get a check for 37 cents in a few years.

I came across the old paperwork when clearing out some of our old files. I was wondering the same thing. I suspect somewhere down the road I'll receive and cash a check for $1.32 and never know why I received the check in the first place.

Which is pretty much why I ignore that stuff in the first place.

The lawyers make the money on that stuff.

I remember getting some credits on some credit card bills that were for some sort of settlement. That may have been it, even though I never actively signed up for it.
