Looked at the info about Deep Creek Hot Springs:
"The waters contain a sometimes fatal disease called primary amoebic meningoencephalitis. The pools also contain a high amount of fecal coliform thanks to all the humans and dogs which frequent the area....A side note for those with sensitive skin – there are microorganisms living in hot springs which could cause inflammation of hair follicles and a skin rash due to the bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa...Some people hike the trails nude. Don’t be surprised when you round a corner and see a bit more skin than your usual hiking trail."

After getting a new hot tub and doing the weekly maintenance and testing to keep it clean, I'm a little wary of even some of the timeshare hot tubs, especially the ones with a lot of little kids or the ones filled with people who hang out for hours (while drinking continuously). So this natural hot spring would definitely not work for me.

Thanks for this info. Guess I won't plan a visit.

@b2bailey I'd love to hear there is an actual ferry to St. Croix. Let us know if it's actually running.
Yrs, it's definitely running.
I was out on a boat when I saw it pass by.
It had the words "St Thomas / St Croix Ferry"
I googled it later. Doesn't run every day, but often enough to plan a visit with a couple overnights.

Actually, I spend the Winter in the Colorado Rockies.
