Sounds like a typical political announcement about a big success of some program/law without any facts.

Nice, this story seems to tell it a bit better...i guess the "enforcement actions" is another way of saying they are actively pursuing 190 some odd scammers!

The FTC announced it won restraining orders against three companies alleged to have taken more than $18 million from victims without selling their properties. All three companies' assets were frozen by federal judges.

The Timeshare Accountability Act gave the AG's office the teeth it needed to start taking legal action against these people. In the past we would have the
Department of Agriculture fine them. Now we have the Orlando Police Department kick their door down, handcuff them and have their way with them.
Then jail time happens. It is good. Just needs to be "gooder". That is my humble opinion.
