Flamingo Beach Resort-Beach Conditions???

Some friends will be joining me at La Visat Beach Resort next month. They have a 3 night stay at Flamingo Beach Resort. Does anyone know the condition of their beach? The friend mentioned that the beach was pretty dirty the last time she was in St. Maarten a few years ago. Are there any updates on the status of the beach? Thanks. :confused:
 
I was there last fall and found the beach fine but very small in front of the pool, unless you mean the one around by the restaurant in shared with a Pelican building, it was great.
