Hi Tug, family, with your help using a blank rental page. I rented out my timehsare for 2009. I received the first payment, great.
Now can someone time me when should I notfy my resort that someone else is coming. Should I wait until I get the hole amount of the rent?
Thank you
Linda:banana:

If you didn't have an agreement on this with the person who is paying you money, you're not doing well. I would put it in their name and get the rest of the money now.

Location
Northern, CA
Resorts Owned
WKORV, WKV, SDO, 4-Kauai Beach Villas, Island Park Village (Yellowstone), Hyatt High Sierra, Dolphin's Cove (Anaheim) NEW: 3 Lawa'i Beach Resort!
When is the 2nd payment due? Will that be payment in full?

I ask the renter to make a nonrefundable $100 deposit to confirm the reservation.

Then I put the reservation in their name and have the resort send them a copy.

When they receive the confirmation in their name the final payment is due in full within 48 hours.

I use paypal.

We have rented ours and after recieving half of the rent total I make a guest certificate with their name and mail it to them and the resort. Ours is a fixed week, not floating. The final $ half I ask for two months before the week. One time someone wanted out so I kept their deposit, would have refunded it if there would have been another renter found. The other times we have rented our timeshare no problem getting the finally 1/2 of the $ due. It is a matter of trust on both ends.

I used Paypal for a deposit of 50% of the rental fee of which I have received. The remaining 50% is due 60 days prior to the rental period.
