Just got back from my first stay at a Westin property. We traded into the WKORVN Oct. 10 - 17. Room # 6333. Due to school for the kids, we got back late last night and DH and the grandparents are still there till Friday.

Majority of our timeshares are Marriotts thus we have stayed at the Maui Ocean Club for appx. 6 times prior to this Westin experience.

I asked my kids their opinions on which resort they like better. Kids are 12, 10 and 4.

- like the beach area better in front of Westin and the snorkeling was great
- like the rooms better at Westin, but thought the living room was smaller
- like the pools better at Marriott
- like the game room better at Marriott

When asked where they want to stay next time: Marriott

The kids biggest thing is the pool area and they didn't like that at the Westin, you had to go to different pools to use the slide, to play on the pirate ship, to play basketball, etc.

For the adults: We liked the Westin better. Rooms are very comfortable, bathrooms very nice, and just an overall upgraded feel.

Really, both the Westin and Marriott are very nice and you can't go wrong with either resort on Kaanapali.

Aloha,
Jen
