DRI Cabo Azul 50,500
Royal Solaris San Jose del Cabo
Yesterday we checked into Cabo Azul. We are Cabo Azul DRI Platinum Members. Our Booking was made over a year ago. It was for Pool or Partial Ocean View. We got here hours before checkin time as we simply moved from Royal Solaris next door. We knew we would have to wait for a Unit. We asked for a Unit over the Serenity Pools. This is where we always stay. We were told no Serenity Pool Units would be available until Tuesday. They put us in a "partial ocean view" in Bldg 1. If you leaned out on the Patio you could see a sliver of ocean. But your main view was of the Vidanta, Construction Site, and dirt Parking Lot for the construction workers. We went back to the Members Checkin and louding complained. After about a 30 minute discussion the Front Desk came up with a Unit overlooking the Serenity Pools. We had to wait for it to be cleaned. Gee I thought none were available. There was an additional several hour wait. If this is how Hilton treats DRI Members there is no chance we will buy Max. Not that we were going to anyway.
