I'm using the Firefox Version 3.0.3 Browser which was a recent upgrade.

Ever since the upgrade, I now have to enter my ID and password when I open tug (I have TUG as a tab on my homepage). I didn't have to do this on earlier versions - it saved my ID and password and I didn't have to re-enter them each time when I returned to the site.

Also, the same thing is happening on the My Yahoo homepage - I have to enter my ID and password each time where I didn't have to previously.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this so I don't have to enter my ID and password each time I enter?

Thanks

Richard

Go to OPTIONS, then make sure REMEMBER PASSWORDS FOR SITES is checked. Sounds like it used to be and is no longer. I'm not that techie, but I am guessing that is it, cause it works fine for me checked like that.

Could it be cookies is turned off. I beleive when you check the box ro "Remember Me" it set a cookie so you don't have to log in each time you go back to that page.

I'm not sure what I did, but Firefox 3 does remember my TUG login info. So it can be done.

I had forgotten to mention that I did check "Tools/Options" and saw under the security tab that "Remember Passwords for Sites" was checked.

However, after reading your replies, I went back and looked at the Security Tab again - Rembember Passwords for Sites was still checked but I noticed another box off to the righthand side that said "Exceptions" - I clicked on that hyperlink and another menu came up that said "Passwords for the Following Sites will not be Saved" - sure enough, Tug was listed. I was able to delete the Tug site from that menu and everything now works fine again.

Thanks all for your help.
