A new analysis from the Pew Internet and American Life Project found that more than half of Americans 65 and over are now browsing the Internet, adding to e-commerce. More than half of seniors are now online. You wont be surprised if some of the more popular devices among older adults are cell phones, mobile devices and incorporated social media activity. While email is noted as being the most popular activity of older adults online, Facebook is also seeing a growth in numbers from this age group. Much of the draw to Facebook may be its simplicity for sharing photos, direct communication between users, and real time status updates. While streamlining these activities, older adults are given more of an opportunity to quickly interact with their peers across the country.
