It's been a long 4 days. No power, phones, cable or cell phone service. So power is on, cable on, but still no Verizon cell service. The only way I can use my cell phone is drive one mile to the bay and point my phone to Connecticut. Our phones are roaming nonstop. But at least my land line is up and running again. I do not think I could ever live in Florida with the constant threat of hurricanes.

That is exactly WHY there are so many bars on the barrier islands along the entire Atlantic seaboard. Really, that is the reason.

And the hurricane threat in FL is only 6 months long. ;)

Connecticut must be a very special place.

Now to get serious, Ann-Marie, I am relieved to hear you are okay and starting to re-establish normal. I hope all of our Tug family will get through this and come out the better. Hugs.
